WHAT: Sponsored by Merge and Handlebar, we will be providing an evening of spirits, passed food, great local auction items, and cabaret performances by some of Buffalo's finest at one of Buffalo's favorite theatres! Come join us for an evening of fun & entertainment - all for a beautiful cause!
WHO: As an all-female group of independent teaching artists, we are in the midst of producing The Travel Project - an international arts initiative, designed to bridge the education gap from West to East, and promote the presence of the arts and female empowerment education in international refugee schools.

We, under the umbrella of the NYC-based Theatre Company The Radium Girls, have put together a collaborative arts workshop to bring to Thoo Mweh Khee - a migrant learning center on the border of Burma and Thailand, which we will present at the school this September. This workshop will combine theatre, dance, creative movement, mindfulness, and female empowerment to create a fusion of expression and art amongst a group of refugee children that might otherwise go without.

With the strong presence of Karen refugees currently living in the Buffalo area, combined with our shared alma mater of SUNY Buffalo, we thought our fair city was the perfect spot to share our mission, and raise funds to help us bring the gift of art across the world!
